Research Summary:
Nelli's research aimed to evaluate whether custom multi-subject imaging beds could make PET/MR brain imaging faster, more affordable, and safe for healthy rats. The findings showed that the rats generally remained stable throughout imaging, supporting the use of multi-subject beds to collect more data efficiently while maintaining animal safety. Future work focuses on developing PET/MR batch analysis workflows using PMOD.
