Research Summary:
Emma's research explored student perspectives on hookup culture at Michigan State University. The study analyzed over 100 responses from a questionnaire offered as extra credit in Dr. Prior’s Sociology classes. By thematically categorizing the responses, the research team aimed to capture the diverse experiences and perceptions of MSU students. The findings were divided into three key areas: the negative and positive emotional impacts, as well as the behaviors associated with hookup culture on campus.
